Prakash Institute believes in improving the personality skills of its students, for this the college organizes extracurricular events like Teachers day, Freshers Party and Farewell fuctions every year. In all these functions students come up with their inherent talents of singing, dancing, mimicry, stand up comedy etc. These events bridge the gap between seniors and juniors and help in establishing an amicable environment in the College. The teachers also get to know a different side of their students. All the courses of the Institute look forward to such events.
Last Year our Director ma’am wanted something different to happen, so just before the Diwali break the students of Physiotherapy College participated in a Rangoli making competition. The competition was held batch wise in BPT course , MPT course , Nursing course in which all the batches came out with beautiful presentations.
Some depicted a tribal lady, some showed message of how to save a girl child and others made beautiful patterns on floor. There was colour everywhere in college which showed the real side of our festivals and culture. Looking at the zeal and enthusiasm of the students of Physiotherapy College, the administration decided to increase the level by keeping a competition among the various departments in Prakash Institute also.
The first prize for best rangoli was taken up by 3rd year batch of Bachelor in Physiotherapy course followed by other departments of Nursing and Paramedicine.
